Patna is a historical city that goes back to the earliest dawn of civilization – 600BC. We wanted to capture the local essence of the city’s knowledge and architecture for BMGF’s Patna office. You might see a lot of elements picked up from the Sanchi Stupa within the office.
The project has an earthy colour palette which subtle touch of colour that brings the design to life. We were given the opportunity to make use of local Matka Silk craftsmen who produced hand carved woven pieces for the reception. Layering the project with handmade wooden furniture pieces helped us add more depth and meaning to it.
